Background Info:
The Nikon D3200 is a cropped sensor camera. The meaning of this is that the image ratio is smaller compared to a full-frame, to explain this in the simplest form is with a DSLR you have a mirror and an image sensor that image sensor is the same size of the mirror a full-frame one has a bigger one making it a much superior as a product compared to a crop sensor. This, on the other hand, means that full frames are heavier but there are many crop sensors such as this Nikon d3200 that are just as capable on stepping into photography and getting the enjoyment out of an image at a novice level to the experienced ones, as this camera offers multiple functions from multiple exposures to short and multi burst framing, to use settings from jpeg to raw or both within one shot.
This camera was the 1st camera I saved up towards from the 1st job that I had at a young age. I bought this camera in 2013 (Nov) a year and a half after its original release the camera still had its price tag at £500 with the 3-year warranty given which was pricey but a good deal compared to the market that it has currently now on new cameras that are like the Nikon D3200. This was a great investment as of thinking as this was no cheap commitment even when thinking about today but seeing as I've shot well over 45,000 images alone on this camera I would say that the 7 years I have put it through from using fire, water, electricity, smoke, cold wet weather, mud and much more it has survived the hardest and most brutal things I could do to it the lense has held up well as the camera with no damage thus far. This camera was the very starting point into the mechanics and dip into my interest in photography. To say I still use this camera when I have to use digital format but I definitely don't rely on it as heavily as I did in my younger years as over that time I have been granted a very lucky few years to obtain some more interesting formats of cameras where I use and seak new experience of using and learning other cameras than just this very one.
If you are a photographer looking for a good priced camera to take some strong images to get started this camera has very strong offers at what it has.
