Changing iso can still be done even with an auto camera loader - as many cameras like this read the coding on the film and sets the camera iso and leaves it.
Focus assist which I haven't seen uses simple red arrows for left and right to focus correctly inside the viewfinder - green for perfect focus.
Minolta A-mount lenses
Batteries 4xAAA on the side - when the battery is low I've noticed film rewinds slow and auto-focus will happen but not take an image. These are simple signs that the battery needs changing. make sure they are not zinc but alkaline!
